1. Scope of this agreement
This Customer Agreement applies to Grand Bounce facility parties, inflatable rentals, add-ons, delivery, setup, pickup, party-related tools, invoices, and related services. It supplements the Terms of Service and is part of the legal consent required by the booking workflow.
By submitting a booking request, paying an invoice, or accepting service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have authority to book the event, and agree to follow this Customer Agreement.
2. Reservation requests and confirmation
A booking request is not a confirmed reservation. Dates, time slots, inflatables, facility party formats, add-ons, staff, delivery routes, and equipment are not guaranteed until Grand Bounce reviews the request and provides written confirmation.
The booking form may create a pending booking record and, when required, a Square deposit invoice. Facility bookings may require deposit payment before staff review can move forward. Inflatable-only rental requests currently may be submitted without a deposit, but they still require staff review and written confirmation.
Grand Bounce may decline a request if the selected date, time, party format, inflatable, staffing, route, setup surface, venue, weather risk, or other condition is unavailable, unsafe, impractical, or outside the service scope.
- Facility parties: Facility requests may require party format selection, party slot selection, birthday child name and age, contact phone, guest count, colors, notes, add-ons, and deposit payment.
- Inflatable rentals: Rental requests may require inflatable selection, pricing category, date and time, bouncer count, guest count, contact phone, notes, and add-ons.
- Written confirmation: A booking is confirmed only when Grand Bounce communicates confirmation in writing by email, text, invoice communication, account page, or another written channel.
3. Deposits, balances, taxes, and payment
Grand Bounce uses Square for invoices and payment processing. Sensitive card details are handled by Square. Grand Bounce stores invoice and payment metadata needed to manage bookings, balances, adjustments, refunds, and records.
Prices may include configured base pricing, selected inflatable pricing, bouncer count, selected add-ons, and applicable sales tax. The booking workflow currently calculates sales tax at 10.2% where tax applies.
- Facility deposit: A $75 deposit may be collected through Square to start a facility reservation request. Paying the deposit does not by itself confirm the booking.
- No-deposit rentals: Inflatable-only rental requests currently do not require a deposit through the booking form. Staff may still send an invoice or payment request before the event is confirmed or serviced.
- Balance: Grand Bounce may send a Square invoice for the remaining balance after staff review, after deposit payment, or before service. Payment is due by the due date shown on the invoice.
- Adjustments: If event details, equipment, add-ons, guest needs, tax treatment, or pricing change, Grand Bounce may replace an unpaid invoice, send an adjustment invoice, apply a credit, or issue a partial refund.
- Open invoices: Grand Bounce may require existing open invoices on your account to be paid, canceled, or resolved before a new invoice or balance invoice is issued.
4. Cancellations, rescheduling, and acts of God
Cancellations are not permitted once a booking is confirmed, except when an act of God prevents service or when a Grand Bounce employee grants a written exception. Rescheduling is subject to availability, route feasibility, staffing, equipment availability, and Grand Bounce approval.
"Act of God" means unforeseeable events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, major infrastructure failure, government restrictions, or other events that make service unsafe or impossible despite reasonable planning.
Weather-related changes are assessed on a case-by-case basis with safety as the top priority. Grand Bounce may choose to delay, modify, reschedule, cancel, or refuse setup when conditions are unsafe.
5. Site readiness and access
You are responsible for ensuring the setup location is ready before Grand Bounce arrives. If the site is not ready, accessible, safe, or consistent with the information provided, Grand Bounce may delay setup, modify service, refuse setup, or cancel service without refund.
- Access: Provide clear access for delivery, setup, inspection, operation, and pickup at the agreed times. Gates, doors, elevators, loading zones, parking, and paths must fit the equipment and staff needs.
- Surface: Tell Grand Bounce the setup surface in advance. The area must be level, stable, clean, drained, and suitable for anchoring or other required setup methods.
- Power: Provide adequate dedicated power within the required distance unless Grand Bounce has agreed to another power arrangement. Extension cords, outlets, and circuits must be safe and available.
- Permits: You are responsible for venue approvals, permits, HOA approvals, park permissions, school or business approvals, insurance requirements requested by the venue, and any site-specific rules.
- Clear area: The setup area must be free of debris, glass, sharp objects, animal waste, sprinklers, irrigation heads, low branches, overhead lines, underground hazards, steep slopes, standing water, mud, and other hazards.
- Utilities: You must identify underground utilities, irrigation, septic systems, private lines, or other hidden hazards before setup.
6. Customer supervision and operation responsibilities
You are responsible for safe operation during the event unless Grand Bounce has expressly agreed in writing to provide attendants or a different staffing arrangement. A responsible adult must actively supervise participants at all times.
- Supervision: Keep a responsible adult at the equipment, monitor participant behavior, enforce rules, and stop unsafe use immediately.
- Rules: Follow posted rules, staff instructions, equipment-specific limits, age or size separation requirements, capacity limits, and weather shutdown instructions.
- Prohibited items: No shoes, jewelry, glasses, sharp objects, food, drinks, gum, silly string, face paint, confetti, glitter, pets, smoking, vaping, open flames, fireworks, weapons, or unsafe objects on or near inflatables unless Grand Bounce expressly approves.
- Behavior: No flips, wrestling, climbing on netting, hanging from basketball hoops or arches, rough play, overcrowding, intoxicated use, moving equipment, or use during unsafe weather.
- Shutdown: Unsafe behavior, lack of supervision, weather, power problems, or failure to follow instructions may result in immediate shutdown without refund.
7. Damage, cleaning, and loss
You are responsible for damage, excessive cleaning, theft, loss, or replacement costs caused by misuse, prohibited items, unsafe behavior, inadequate supervision, pets, stains, food, drinks, silly string, gum, paint, confetti, glitter, sharp objects, moving equipment, or other causes beyond ordinary wear.
Grand Bounce may charge repair, cleaning, replacement, labor, collection, or downtime costs when equipment or property is damaged or returned in unacceptable condition.
8. Inclement weather and safety shutdowns
For safety, Grand Bounce may delay, modify, shut down, refuse setup, reschedule, or cancel service due to unsafe weather or site conditions. Unsafe conditions may include high winds, lightning, heavy rain, flooding, extreme heat, poor air quality, mud, saturated ground, unsafe travel conditions, or any condition Grand Bounce believes creates unreasonable risk.
If weather becomes unsafe during your event, you must stop use immediately and follow Grand Bounce instructions. Equipment may not be used again until conditions are safe and any required inspection or restart is complete.
9. Add-ons and facility-specific services
Add-ons such as photo slideshow upload, DJ sound system, ice, snow effect, snow cone machine, dodgeball upgrades, or other configured options are subject to availability, event type, staffing, site conditions, and compatibility with the selected party or rental.
Grand Bounce may substitute, remove, decline, or refund add-ons when they are unavailable, unsafe, incompatible, or not practical for the event. Add-on descriptions and prices may change before confirmation.
10. Invitations, reviews, and event content
Certain confirmed facility bookings may support shareable invitation tools using booking details such as birthday child information, date, time, party colors, or booking reference. You are responsible for ensuring information used in invitations is accurate and appropriate to share.
If you submit a review or other content, you grant Grand Bounce permission to use, display, moderate, and manage that content in connection with the website and business. Grand Bounce may decline or remove submitted content.
11. Customer information and communications
You agree to provide accurate name, email, phone, event, venue, setup, and payment information. You authorize Grand Bounce to contact you about your request or booking by email, phone, text, invoice communication, or account-related communication.
Grand Bounce may send transactional emails about pending bookings, deposit payment, booking confirmation, contact requests, account security, and invoices. You are responsible for monitoring the email address and phone number you provide.
12. Assumption of risk and liability
Inflatables, party activities, active play, facility use, equipment use, and event participation involve inherent risks, including falls, collisions, weather-related risks, surface hazards, participant conduct, and misuse. You accept responsibility for participant conduct and agree to follow all safety requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Grand Bounce and its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives from claims, damages, injuries, losses, costs, and expenses arising from your event, participant conduct, site conditions, inaccurate information, failure to supervise, misuse, prohibited use, or breach of this agreement.
Additional waivers, venue documents, insurance certificates, or written terms may be required depending on event type, venue, or services.
13. Refusal or termination of service
Grand Bounce may refuse, stop, or terminate service when needed for safety, nonpayment, inaccurate information, unavailable equipment, unsafe weather, poor site conditions, abusive conduct, violation of rules, lack of supervision, venue restrictions, or other circumstances that make service unsafe or impractical.
14. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
15. Agreement updates
Grand Bounce may update this agreement periodically. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent changes. The booking workflow may require acceptance of the current legal version before creating a new booking request or invoice. Confirmed bookings remain subject to the agreement accepted or provided for that booking unless Grand Bounce and the customer agree otherwise in writing.
