Website and service terms

Please review these Terms, the Customer Agreement, and the Privacy Policy before requesting a booking.

1. Scope and related agreements

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the Grand Bounce website, account features, booking forms, public catalog pages, contact forms, review tools, party invitation tools, emails, text messages, invoices, and other communications connected to Grand Bounce services.

By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting a contact request, requesting a booking, paying an invoice, or using any related service, you agree to these Terms. Booking customers also agree to the Customer Agreement, and all users should review the Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, shared, and retained.

  • Customer Agreement: The Customer Agreement contains service-specific booking, payment, cancellation, site-readiness, safety, damage, and weather terms. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Customer Agreement for an event booking, the more specific Customer Agreement controls for that event.
  • Privacy Policy: The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms and describes how Grand Bounce handles contact details, account data, booking details, payment metadata, analytics, uploaded event information, and communications.

2. Eligibility, accounts, and authentication

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, submit a booking request, pay an invoice, or enter into an agreement with Grand Bounce. If you act for a business, school, organization, venue, or household, you represent that you have authority to do so.

Account sign-in and profile functions are provided through Clerk. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for promptly telling Grand Bounce if you believe an account, invoice, or booking has been accessed without permission.

  • Account email: Booking requests require an account with an email address so invoices, confirmations, security notices, and booking updates can be delivered.
  • Security notices: Grand Bounce may send account sign-in and password reset emails when supported by the authentication workflow.
  • Accurate information: You agree to provide accurate account, contact, event, guest, location, timing, and payment information.

3. Website content, catalog, and availability

The website includes public pages for facility parties, inflatable rentals, add-ons, FAQs, reviews, photos, 3D model previews, and other information. Grand Bounce works to keep this information useful and current, but availability, pricing, party formats, add-ons, equipment details, photos, descriptions, and service areas may change.

Catalog pages and booking screens are invitations to request service, not a guarantee that a specific date, party slot, inflatable, add-on, price, route, or setup condition is available. Grand Bounce may correct errors, decline unavailable requests, or update information without prior notice.

4. Booking requests, legal consent, and confirmation

The booking form supports facility party requests and inflatable rental requests. The form may ask for party format, selected party slot or inflatable, pricing category, date and time, bouncer count, guest count, birthday child details for facility parties, phone number, colors, notes, and selected add-ons.

Before the site creates a booking request or deposit invoice, you must accept the current Terms of Service and Customer Agreement. The site records the consent version and the time of acceptance with the booking invoice record.

Submitting a booking request, creating a deposit invoice, or receiving a pending email does not mean the booking is confirmed. A booking is confirmed only after any required deposit or payment step is complete, Grand Bounce reviews availability and event details, and Grand Bounce provides written confirmation.

  • Pending requests: Facility bookings and some rentals begin as pending requests. Staff review may include equipment availability, date availability, route feasibility, party format, staffing, setup conditions, and event notes.
  • No-deposit rentals: Inflatable-only rental requests may be submitted without a deposit. Those requests remain pending until staff review and written confirmation.
  • Open invoices: The site may block a new booking request while your account has an existing non-terminal Square invoice, so duplicate unpaid requests are not created.
  • Rate limits: Grand Bounce may limit repeated invoice or booking creation attempts to protect the site, staff, and payment systems.

5. Pricing, taxes, invoices, and adjustments

Displayed totals are based on configured party pricing, selected inflatable pricing, bouncer count, selected add-ons, and applicable sales tax. Current booking tax calculation uses a 10.2% sales tax rate where tax applies in the booking workflow.

Grand Bounce uses Square to create, publish, update, cancel, and track invoices and to process payments. Card numbers and sensitive payment credentials are handled by Square, not stored by Grand Bounce.

If event details change, add-ons are added or removed, pricing is corrected, or the scope of service changes, Grand Bounce may replace an unpaid invoice, send an adjustment invoice, send a remaining balance invoice, or issue a partial refund through Square when appropriate.

  • Facility deposit: Facility bookings currently use a $75 deposit when the booking request requires a deposit, with the remaining balance handled later.
  • Rental deposit: Inflatable-only rental requests currently do not require a deposit through the booking form.
  • Balance invoices: For split-payment bookings, the remaining balance may be sent after the deposit is paid and staff review is complete.
  • Due dates: Invoice due dates and payment methods are controlled by the invoice and Square payment flow.

6. Contact requests, communications, and marketing

When you submit a contact request, the site validates the form, may use bot-detection checks, stores the request in Grand Bounce systems, emails staff, and sends a confirmation email to the address you provide.

Grand Bounce may contact you by email, phone, or text about contact requests, booking requests, invoices, payment status, account security, event details, safety instructions, changes, cancellations, reminders, and customer support. Message and data rates may apply for phone or text communication.

Grand Bounce may operate email marketing or broadcast tools for subscribed contacts. Marketing emails should respect unsubscribe status where the email provider supports it. Transactional booking, invoice, account, safety, and service emails are not marketing emails.

7. Cancellation, rescheduling, weather, and site conditions

Cancellation, rescheduling, weather, and site-readiness terms are set out in the Customer Agreement and may also be confirmed in booking communications. Except where a Grand Bounce employee grants a written exception or an act of God prevents service, cancellations are not permitted once a booking is confirmed.

Grand Bounce may delay, modify, refuse setup, shut down, reschedule, or cancel service when weather, access, power, surface, space, supervision, behavior, venue rules, utilities, or other site conditions make service unsafe or impractical.

8. Conduct, safety, and prohibited use

You agree to follow all safety guidance provided by Grand Bounce, including posted rules, staff instructions, participant limits, age or size separation requirements, equipment-specific rules, and supervision requirements. A responsible adult must supervise children and participants at all times.

  • Unsafe behavior: Grand Bounce may stop or refuse service without refund when unsafe conduct, prohibited use, intoxication, fighting, overcrowding, rough play, or failure to follow instructions creates a safety risk.
  • Prohibited items: No sharp objects, weapons, fireworks, open flames, smoking, gum, silly string, food, drinks, pets, shoes, jewelry, or other unsafe items on or near inflatables unless Grand Bounce expressly approves.
  • Equipment protection: You may not move, alter, disconnect, overload, stake, unstake, deflate, repair, or misuse equipment unless instructed by Grand Bounce.

9. User submissions, photos, reviews, and invitations

The site may allow you to submit contact messages, booking notes, review content, invitation details, birthday child details, party colors, and other event information. You are responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have the right to provide it.

You may not submit unlawful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, invasive, infringing, misleading, spam, malware, or otherwise harmful content. Grand Bounce may remove, reject, edit, or decline to publish submitted content.

  • Reviews: Reviews may be connected to booking reference information and may be moderated before publication.
  • Invitations: Party invitation tools are provided for convenience after eligible bookings and may use booking details supplied through the booking workflow.
  • License: You grant Grand Bounce a limited license to use submitted content as needed to operate the site, provide services, communicate with you, display approved reviews, and troubleshoot or improve the service.

10. Analytics, security, and bot protection

Grand Bounce uses analytics and server-side logging to understand website usage, catch booking or contact-form errors, investigate failures, improve the site, and protect the service. The site may display a notice if analytics requests appear to be blocked because analytics help identify user-facing problems.

The contact form and other routes may use security controls such as origin checks, bot detection, validation, rate limiting, authentication checks, and logging. Grand Bounce may block, throttle, or reject requests that appear automated, abusive, fraudulent, unsafe, or inconsistent with these Terms.

11. Intellectual property

The Grand Bounce name, branding, website design, text, graphics, photos, logos, software, catalog structure, page layouts, and other site content are owned by Grand Bounce or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the website for personal or internal event-planning purposes. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, sell, frame, reverse engineer, or exploit the site or its content for commercial use without written permission.

12. Third-party services

Grand Bounce relies on third-party services to operate the website and booking workflow, including providers for authentication, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, hosting, file or asset storage, bot protection, and maps or calendar-related operations where configured.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. Grand Bounce is not responsible for third-party service outages, processing delays, unavailable payment methods, email delivery failures, authentication interruptions, blocked analytics requests, or other issues outside Grand Bounce's reasonable control.

13. Disclaimers

The website and online tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Grand Bounce does not warrant that the website, booking form, account features, invoices, emails, analytics, public pages, or other online functions will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.

Grand Bounce does not guarantee that website descriptions, photos, model previews, package descriptions, pricing, availability, or other content will be complete, current, or free of errors. Grand Bounce may correct mistakes and confirm final details in writing.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grand Bounce is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or service interruption damages related to the website, booking workflow, communications, invoices, third-party services, or services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited. Event-specific responsibility, assumption of risk, damage, cleaning, safety, and customer obligations are further addressed in the Customer Agreement.

15. Termination and refusal of service

Grand Bounce may suspend or terminate website access, decline a booking request, cancel a pending request, refuse service, remove content, or close an account when necessary to protect safety, comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, address nonpayment, enforce these Terms, or respond to repeated inaccurate or abusive submissions.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Updates

Grand Bounce may update these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent changes. When the booking workflow requires consent to updated legal terms, you may be asked to accept the current version before creating a new booking request or invoice.

Unless a different effective date is stated or the law requires an earlier effective date, updates become effective when published for website use and for new requests submitted after publication. Confirmed bookings remain subject to the terms accepted or provided for that booking unless Grand Bounce and the customer agree otherwise in writing.
